Rambles and Riff Raff about all this and that

Lenovo Blogs…

Published by Esteban Glas on February 2nd, 2007 | This post lacks all category except for: Blogs, Lenovo

No, it’s not about the official blog from Lenovo, it’s just that I’ve noticed an increasing number of Lenovo employees are bloging. I guess David Churbuck is influencing all of us.

A list of the blogs I’m aware of:

  • David Churbuck. An excellent blog on web marketing, clamming, and a lot of other interesting stuff. Oh, did I mention he’s VP of Web Marketing?
  • Diary of a Madman. Jim’s blog on web-analytics, which is sometimes hacked by “Pebbles”. Jim’s was the first Lenovo blog I started reading on a daily basis.
  • The Kristasphere. Krysta blogs on so much! Web Marketing, Boxing, Laila Ali, Fake Steve Jobs, and much (much!) more.
  • Mann in China. Mike is on a one year assignment in China and he writes about his experiences there. One of the most catching blogs out there, when he remembers to write (wink, wink).
  • Markitude. Mark reflects on his impressions on everyday life and technology, as well as giving advice on how to build your own house.
  • Jim’s Garage. As expected from the title, Jim posts about Cars. nothing else but cars, and on a great fashion, being a BMW fan I’d like him to talk about the Munich car company more often, but that’s me!
  • Durham Foodie. Another recent Discovery, I’ll be trying some recipes soon.
  • Supples’ Pub. Tim Supples personal blog about… well a lot of very interesting things.
  • Lenovo Williams. (Spanish) Claudio Toriano’s blog on everything regarding the AT&T Williams F1 team sponsored by Lenovo
  • Teshrabo Chai aw Gahwa: United Arab Emirate’s Mena Migally Blogs on a lot of things.
  • eThos from Hemant Soreng: Hermant Soreng’s (Lenovo India Thought on internet, marketing, technology, new media, innovations and more.

That’s Ten. I know some more, but since they haven’t been updated in over a year: I wont mention them.

Have I missed anyone? Please let me know if so, so I can get to know your blogs. And keep those posts coming.

Edit Feb 23: Deleted “Heart of business” since it has become an Official Blog
Edit July 4: Added Lenovo Williams blog.
Edit November 7, 07: Added Mena Migally
Edit July 1st 2008: Added Hermant Soreng

Thanks for the comment on the blog. I’ll make a point of reminiscing at length about the Bimmer. Actually I have fond memories of BMW having spent some time as a mechanic at a BMW dealership in Connecticut.

  2. David Churbuck says:

Nice job. Thanks for pulling this together. If I become aware of any others I’ll post them in the comments here.

  3. Kristasphere says:

Again, thanks for this ‘shout out’ and all the prior “blog love” Esteban. Glad, also to know we have a BMW mechanic in our “cohort” just in case I decide to get another Z3 :-)

This guys are full of surprises. I know there must be other bloggers from Lenovo out there in the wild, come out, come out, wherever you are!

  7. [...] I’ve gladly witnessed how all unofficial lenovo blogs evolve, and I eagerly await for new posts of this guys. I’ve committed into some dialogs with Mark (I still owe you an answer to “the question”) and Jim, and replied to some posts seen on Krista’s, Midori’s and other blogs. Let me say, it’s been hard to try and keep up to the level and depth you impose. [...]
